It really brought back a lot of memories. I played this game a long while. It's a very good remix, too bad it had a couple of flaws. There are some spikes in the song which you could have gotten rid of with a modest use of quantize. Apart from that, it's got a horrible transition at 2:34-2:36
To finish it all off, the song is in mono... which is too bad. If it would 2 speakers, it would produce a sound that would have a big impact on the environment it is played in.
Still, it can't be all bad... the song in itself is a very good remix, it didn't go too far from the original to lose it's recognisable parts and specific tune. A job well done!

Haha that transition doesn't sit well with people I guess... it was intended to be sort of a break from the predictability of the whole thing but I guess it was a bad move kinda. Glad you liked the rest, as I noted below the mono thing has been noticed. You're spot on, it does diminish the impact it might have...and it would also improve on the relatively bad sound quality. I will resubmit it in stereo some time. Hopefully soon. Thanks for the review!

Basically, I'll give my opinion: you start very complex with adding most lines of sounds after a few seconds, which isn't a problem in itself. You then use a very brief silent moment to throw everything in there that you got. It drags on for a bit, then you use a looping sequence and then you quit...
The looping sequence and the drag at the end are what stop your enthousiasm. Your running in circles and can't seem to find an exit. You used the basics: loops, dragging sound, brief silence, quick buildup at the start. What's left? The loop isn't good enough to start the whole song over, since it would make force the loop in a big (all song) loop.
What you should be looking for is the opposite of the quick buildup at the start. This way, you make it clear that the listener can except the song to end. But , keep in mind that it will loop here and possibly at the user's end in other scenario's. So make sure the loop is evened out so it doesn't show itself and make it obvious that it's there.
Hope this helps a bit.
Great sample BTW, keep at it!
